My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nallah (A136666) is a 5-year-old Lab x Pitty mix who weighed 57.8 pounds on intake!

12/11/24 Nallah is back at the shelter and looking for the right fit for her. She was described as hyper and a bit high-strung in her adoptive home. They stated that she loved to play with the ball and would play all day long! Nallah was said to not mind well and would benefit from attending a basic obedience class. She was also said to be quite the chewer, so providing her with appropriate outlets for her energy and chew toys is important! Nallah’s skin is looking great, and a reminder that she does have a chicken/beef allergy, so she should remain on a limited-ingredient diet. Nallah was said to not be particularly fond of the established dogs in the home and was previously said to be selective towards female dogs. If you do have other animals, please ensure you are making appropriate introductions. If you are interested in meeting Nallah, please let us know!

11/18/24 This sweet girl is Nallah! Nallah was surrendered to the shelter with her friend Coco due to no fault of their own. Nallah appears to be the bolder of the two and was eager to meet the care staff, whereas Coco was a bit more reserved. Neither of these pups has experience with babies or children. However, with a little time they both have started to let their personalities shine through! Nallah and Coco were both said to be housebroken and to know a variety of commands! They were also said do well with other animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, and poultry. Nallah was said to prefer male dogs to females. Ensuring you are making appropriate introductions is key to setting them up for success! Nallah and Coco are also on a limited ingredient diet due to their prior owner notating chicken/beef allergies. They have been doing great at the shelter so far! We are not requiring that Nallah and Coco be adopted together, but if you are looking for a pair that are already established friends, please consider adopting this duo and give us a call!
