Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie is a 2 year old beagle/jack Russell mix who is simply the sweetest girl to walk this earth! She is equal parts cuddles and fun with a massive personality! Cookies foster mom said that she sleeps in bed with them every night along with the resident dogs and is an angel with their 2 legged kiddo as well as the special needs child she baby sits. Her foster says that she is a little nervous at first around big dogs but once she realizes that they will not hurt her she is their bestie. She hasn’t been introduced to cats but given her demeanor we think she would do just fine if properly introduced. Cookie is the best of all worlds! She can’t wait to meet you and steal your heart. Cookie is housebroken, leash and crate trained. She is outgoing, silly, loving and sweet, Cookie will do great in your home.

Cookie is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Virtual or in person

Approve Application

Send out approval with information on canine, need to electronically sign. Adoption agreement. Review all aspects of the adoption agreeement

Pay Fee

Adoption donation accepted, welcome letter emailed with educational information to welcome your new dog home. Transport arranged

6.
Take the Pet Home

Adopters receive all vetting documentation and a welcome home goodie bag for new fur friend

With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
