My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kylo

Kylo is a sweet and lovable Lab mix who came into the shelter when his owners could no longer care for him and his friend, Loki. Both dogs take a bit of warming up with new people, but a few treats make for fast friendship.

Kylo loves to go for walks and play with toys in the yard. He is a bit on the rounder side and is looking for a companion who will take him for daily walks and help him get to a healthier body condition. He is not a picky eater and is being a good sport about being on a bit of a diet.

He has been walking well on leash, though is a strong puller! He even knows a few basic commands (sit, laydown etc.). City life is proving a bit overwhelming for him, so we are looking for an experienced adopter who can work with him on desensitization and do slow introductions with new people. We feel they would be best suited to a home without children, in a house with a yard access. Bonus if it's located in a quiet, more rural environment.

These two are inseparable and rely on each other for support. We are looking for a home who can welcome both of these dogs into their home. If you are interested, fill out an application online or meet them in person. Adoption hours are Tuesday - Sunday, 12-3 (closed on Mondays).
