My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Loki!

This active guy would love to find a home that has lots of time for exercise and adventures. Loki is used to exploring and running around most of the day. He was not often walked on a leash and is learning leash manners here in the branch that his new guardian will need to continue working on. He would prefer a home with a nice big yard space or fenced property to have free reign of.

Loki came in with his big brother, Kylo, who is also very active. They LOVE to run and play together and get along very well. Ideally, someone with lots of space is interested in adopting the two dogs together! We would love to see these two best friends enjoy a new home together. Loki can be nervous of new people and dogs, and will need slow introductions to get him acquainted with someone. He can be very hyper and chatty, so an apartment style living wouldn't be ideal for him.

If you are an adventure aficionado interested in meeting Loki, you can come into the West Vancouver Branch Tuesday to Sunday between 12pm and 3pm to chat with the staff and meet Loki!

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:
