My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

From the foster: This little guy is doing great. He is timid at first but as the days have passed, he's coming more and more out of his shell. He's a mischievous and curious one! He is on his own timeline, meaning that when he is ready to approach you, he will, but he still isn't comfortable being approached.

He has had ZERO accidents in the house, is slowly getting used to being on a leash, and is most comfortable on a blanket he can call his own. He's been great in his crate at night and has no trouble sleeping through the night. He prefers to be in the presence of other dogs but will curl up and sleep for hours on your lap.

More about this rescue

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
