Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pepper came from a breeder who closed his business. The breeder that had her was a man. Thankfully she was saved before she had puppies. She is 2 yrs old. She is 12 lbs and very small. She has been mistreated by a man. She is DEATHLY AFRAID of men. She needs to go to a home with a single woman/women. She cowers when you approach her. She runs away from you until she gets used to you and learns that she can trust you. After having her for about 3 weeks, she finally walked upright to me for the first time. She sleeps close to me in the bed and follows me everywhere. She even lets my husband handle her without running, but he has a special way with animals. She WILL REQUIRE a lot of love and patience. She is house trained, spayed, up to date on shots, heart worm negative and is crate trained. She needs some work on her leash training too. She loves to be held once she gets over the fear that you are going to hurt her. She needs a quiet home with no kids under 13 and someone who is home most of the time that can spend a lot of time working with her and loving and holding her. She will be a great companion for someone special that will love her and retrain her not to fear humans. She will sit on my lap for hours under the blanket or lay on the couch beside me for hours once she is picked up off the floor. She loves to lay on my chest and put her head under my chin. She LOVES my dogs and runs and plays with them all the time. She would be ok with cats too if the cat was not afraid of dogs. If you are the right person and are interested in her, email her foster mom at krnorn5@gmail.com or call me at 731-439-1731
