My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Kelsey!

I am a petite DSH white and brown tabby female with the prettiest golden eyes. I will be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed soon but until then will be part of MAR's Foster-to-Adopt program.

My story is a sad one. I was found outside pregnant so some kind people brought me inside and started feeding me lots of good food. Unfortunately only one of my kittens survived but three other babies didn't have a mom so I took them in as my own.

I like head pats and purrs and when the pats stop I simply give a little head butt for more! I get along with other cats but am protective of my kittens around the dog. Maybe once they are gone the dog and I can work things out.

Kelsey would do well in a busy household with kids so if you think you are a good fit please visit our website at www.muskokaanimalrescue.com and complete an application.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
