Gobbler is a handsome ginger colored mixed breed dog whose estimated DOB is 9/1/2021 and on 11/25/2024 he weighed in at 39.5 pounds. He was brought to us after being found on the side of the road. The finder tells us that Gobbler is good with dogs, not aggressive or food aggressive, is housetrained and loves to cuddle once he warms up. We can verify that he is timid, and very, very sweet. Gobbler is timid and scares or startles easily, so he will need a loving and patient human. Once you earn his trust, you will have a canine lap warmer for the cold winter. Talk about puppy dog eyes... just look at him! Come meet sweet little Gobbler today and give him the love and trust that he so deserves.
Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

More about this shelter
The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
The Humane Society of Pulaski County provides access to low-cost, healthy, inoculated, sterilized animals to people seeking to adopt animals as pets only. Adopters are screened to see if they can provide the basics of care for the animals, proper housing, and continued veterinary maintenance; and have no history of animal abuse or irresponsible ownership.
The Humane Society is a private no-kill shelter, supported solely by donations, fund-raisers, bequests and grants. We receive no city, county or state funding, nor are we affiliated with any other organization. We have been rescuing animals since 1946, and have been in our present building since 2000.
