My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Graham! This handsome guy is a 60lb, 2 year old German Shepherd mix ready to find his forever home!

Graham LOVES his people and just wants to soak up all of the pets and attention he can get. 🥰 A total lovebug, this happy guy will quite literally wrap himself around you for snuggles.😅 He enjoys following his people around the house and is happiest curled up at your feet or maybe even on the couch if you'll let him. 🐕

Graham has great manners with other dogs and doesn't show much interest in his kitty foster sibling.🐩🐈 We think he'd do well in a home with other dogs or cats. This good boy is potty trained and doing well with crate training. He barks for a few minutes before settling in and prefers to eat his meals outside the crate where he's most comfortable. ❤️ Graham has lots of energy and is so excited to greet people! He's working hard on keeping all 4 paws on the ground and not jumping up. 🐾 He'll continue to improve with consistency and patience! Graham is finishing up with heartworm treatment and needs to keep his activity low for a few more months.

Overall, this sweet guy would do well in just about any home! Apply today to make him part of your family. 🫶

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Visit https://operationfreedomride.com/ and click "available pets" to see who is available for adoption.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
