Harlow is a very sweet, very active girl. She will pick her human and be their shadow. She loves to hike, camp, play fetch, and go on long car rides, her head resting on the window ledge. Harlow has lived with an older great dane/pointer mix and a pug, and loves to play.
Recently, we lost our older dog. That, along with my pregnancy, created a hard-to-adjust period for her. Because of her high energy level, she does have anxiety and will randomly bark, hair raised, at our neighbors or at people outside the car window. The other day she approached my 4 year old son to play. He sat up, rested his head against her side. I think this startled her and she turned and snapped at him. She purposely didn't make contact, but did get very close; this is the second time this has happened. She is good with him, and his friends, 99% of the time but we can't risk how that may change once our baby comes and she gets even less attention, as she gets jealous.
