My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gwen!

Gwen is a female DSH black kitten born July 28/24 so around 4 months old. She is litter trained, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed when she is old enough. Until then she is part of MAR's Foster-to-Adopt program.

Gwen is a happy, social kitten! Her playful friendly disposition makes her a joy to be around, always eager to make new friends. Gwen's zest for life and loving nature make her a great companion. Adopt Gwen and experience the joy of her companionship every day. She is good with other cats and dogs.

If you think Gwen is for you, please visit our website www.muskokaanimalrescue.com and fill out an application.

As we are a rescue group, we don't have a shelter, just loving foster homes throughout Muskoka. Please contact us to make an appointment to see an animal.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
