My name is Buttercream!

Buttercream is a 3 month old male roborovski hamster who came to us in November 2024 due to allergies in the home.

Buttercream is more reclusive than his brother Beef Cow, but that just makes it all the more special when you spot this cute-as-a-button little buddy! Robo hamsters are not ideal for handling, as they are very small and very fast. Even experienced hamster parents need to be careful that they don't wriggle out of your grasp. Due to this, we do not recommend them for handling by children.

Buttercream's wish is for a home with lots of deep bedding to tunnel in, a nice wheel, and plenty of sand to roll around and dig in. In return, you get to wait on him hand and foot and get glimpses of his furry form!
