Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It`s an all-too-familiar story! My name is Daisy, and I`m a grey tabby and white female kitten that started showing up in someone`s yard. No collar, no microchip, no indication that anyone was caring for me. A kind person realized my predicament and got me into Animal Ark before winter really had a chance to set in. I`m still getting settled at the shelter, but I`m young, friendly, and playful. My previous experience with other cats, dogs, and children is a bit of a mystery. I can`t go to a home with children under the age of five years old. Going home with a kitten buddy or to a home with a friendly resident cat would be `purr-fect.` Come to Animal Ark to introduce yourself--you`re guaranteed to fall in love with me!

Their adoption process

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
