My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

* If Other, please specify :

Colour/Pattern : Orange Tabby

Date of Birth (if known):

My Foster Likes (a few words or one sentence) : Nikolai is very chill and loves to watch the birds.

My Foster Dislikes (a few words or one sentence): Nikolai dislikes being told `no` when he climbs the cupboards looking for left behind food.

My Foster`s Ideal Home Would Have (a few words or one sentence): Nikolai is very chill and although my home is fairly quiet, I think he could adapt to a variety of situations.

Good with cats?: Unknown but should be fine

Good with dogs?: Unknown but should be fine

Good with children?: Unknown but should be fine

Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: Unsure

Temperament: Independent

Ideal type of household?: Medium activity

How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few days

Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Nikolai is a very pleasant, affectionate, easy-going companion. He is pretty chill and independent and yet very friendly and playful. He is a fearless explorer in new environments and will be entertained with the simple things as well. He loves to sleep at your feet whether on the couch in the afternoon or in bed at night and is a meticulous groomer of his beautiful orange coat. Surprisingly Nikolai sheds almost no hair, and is a natural with the litter box. His easy, loving nature would make him a good fit with a larger, active household or with a single person or couple.

Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio):

More about this rescue

Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
