My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar is a good boy that needs a new home because I cannot give him the life that he deserves. My family has changed drastically since I got him. Unfortunately, we cannot meet his needs.

Oscar is a very timid/shy dog that will take a little while to warm up to you. However, once he does he is very loving. He is a cuddler that loves to be around people. He is great with kids, I have a 1 yr old, a 9 yr old, and a 13 yr old. He has been with us for 8 years and has never shown any aggression. In fact, my one yr old loves to dig in his dog bowl while Oscar is eating. Oscar enjoys the company.

At time he still has a lot of energy even though he is getting older.

He is a homebody. I generally just let him run around our fenced in yard. He can get spooked while on walks and wants to come home.

He is good with other dogs and loves to play with them. He is not aggressive.

Oscar does have a skin condition that requires a pill everyday, which clears it up.
