Hello there, I`m Caspian. I`ve spent many years observing the world and I must say, I`ve become quite the philosopher. I`m known for my friendly and mellow nature. My curiosity has never faded, leading me to explore every nook and cranny. I love nothing more than spending time with my family and having my soft black fur stroked. Brushing time is my favorite, it`s our special bonding moment. I`m a talkative fellow, always ready to share my thoughts and experiences. I may do well with other cats in my new home with a slow introduction.

Their adoption process

Interview

Call and tell us what animal you're interested in and we discuss all aspects of the pet. If it's not a match, we can help you find one

2.
Submit Application

We will set up an appointment time for you to meet the pet and collect a Companion Request Form from you.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

At your appointment we will give you an opportunity to meet the pet and make a final decision. If all goes well, you will take the pet home.

The mission of the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Placer SPCA) is to enhance the lives of companion animals and support the human-animal bond.

We offer programs for the pets and people of Placer County, including adoptions, lost and found, low-cost spay and neuter assistance, humane education programs, emergency financial assistance for pet owners, free behavior advice, and low-cost microchips and rabies vaccines.
