Bliss is a 2 year old Shih Tzu mix who’s looking forward to bringing happiness and love to her forever home! Bliss was rescued from the shelter by one of our amazing volunteers. We don’t know how this lovely little lady landed in the slammer, but we promised to find her the perfect forever home! Bliss has a non-shedding coat that will require regular grooming and is an option for those with allergies, or who want less hair around the house. Add some joy to your household by adopting Bliss!

Bliss is a loving and adorable pup who can’t wait to show you how much love she will bring to your life! This lovely lady is a total velcro dog who wants to be wherever you are 24/7! This lovely lady deserves the very best in the world and would be thrilled to show you her skills at collecting her stuffed toys and stacking them next to her throne… we mean her dog bed! Bliss adores her playful foster sister so we think she’d be an awesome fit for a home with a resident dog, but she would also be just fine flying solo! Bliss has a perfect level of energy and enthusiasm. She loves her walks and zoomies but is also thrilled to snuggle up for a night by the fire. She melts the hearts of everyone she meets and will make you forget all about your life before you met her. Bliss will snuggle her way into your arms from the moment you meet her and she can’t wait to start her next adventure with you!

Bliss wakes up around 7 AM and gets her breakfast while her humans start their days. She gets a short walk in the morning and then settles into her dog bed in the home office. She loves being where her people are and has a collection of toys she keeps on her bed to keep herself occupied. Bliss gets a snack around lunchtime followed by some playtime in the yard. In the afternoon, after the workday ends, Bliss heads out on a neighborhood stroll where she greets all her furry friends. She has dinner at 5 PM and then spends her evenings snuggling with her humans on the couch. She goes out for one more potty before she heads to bed in her pen.

Bliss lives with two dogs currently and gets along with them well, especially when they all get zoomies in the yard. Bliss walks very well on a leash and loves smelling all that the world has to offer. Bliss will require regular grooming and brushing to keep her looking beautiful, so we will expect interested homes to have a plan for this. Come find some joy with Bliss this holiday season!

Bliss is an option for homes who have previously owned a dog. Kids should be over the age of 7.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
