My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bradley is our big-hearted, big-pawed, all-around huggable goofball waiting to find his forever family! This handsome boy is one-half of an adorable dynamic duo with his sister Hadley, but don’t worry—they’re on the hunt for separate forever homes. Bradley’s one of those dogs whose size is only matched by his big, lovable personality. Every day is an adventure for Bradley, and he’s ready to take you along for the ride.

Bradley is a total toy enthusiast. Whether it’s squeaky toys, rope toys, or anything that rolls, he’s there! Leave him in the play yard, and he’ll entertain himself for hours, bounding around like a puppy. He has a hilarious, bouncy energy that brings laughter and joy to everyone around him. Even though he’s got plenty of get-up-and-go, Bradley also has a soft, cuddly side, and he’s more than happy to settle in for some serious snuggle time after he’s done playing.

This big teddy bear has a gorgeous coat that’s perfect for petting, and he’s not shy about leaning in for some extra love and attention. Bradley loves people, and he’s eager to find someone who’s as devoted to him as he will be to them. He’s the kind of dog who will make you smile every day with his silly antics and warm your heart with his gentle, sweet side.

Bradley loves his human companions and dreams of a home where he can be the center of attention. If you’re looking for a lovable, playful, and endlessly entertaining companion, Bradley is your guy. He’s waiting at Lighthouse Animal Shelter, hoping that the right person will see past his size and fall in love with the goofy, gentle spirit inside

More about this rescue

At Lighthouse Animal Shelter, an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization, we promote the welfare of animals at risk of euthanasia. We also work with the community to maximize efforts in reducing pet overpopulation.

We rescue the majority of our dogs from high-intake shelters down south (the majority being from Kentucky, South Carolina & North Carolina) and get organize transport to our New Bedford shelter for adoption. We focus on last-call death row dogs.

The cats in our care are all local strays or surrenders and are generally adults to seniors.
