My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kayla! Kayla was rescued in a small town with her three kittens. From the moment she arrived at her foster home, she has been a big purr baby. The moment she comes close for some attention, the loud purring begins. A very friendly sweet girl. Kayla has lots of energy and loves to play with every kind of toy...and she's always losing them, especially balls. The laser pointer, wand toys and tunnel are her favourites. After play time is over, she naps in her pet bed. She would really enjoy playing in a home with older children. Kayla can be a goofy girl and she makes her foster parents laugh. Her gorgeous big eyes melt their hearts. She has beautiful thick shiny hair with some white on her neck and tummy and likes being brushed. Kayla has three new foster brothers and gets along great with all of them. She was like the welcoming committee when they arrived, sticking her paw into their kennels, saying hi. Kayla would love to be in a home with another friendly kitty so she has a friend to play with.

Kayla is especially cute when she lies in her pet bed with her paws hanging over the side watching her foster Dad when he's on the computer. And she will cuddle on her foster Mom's chest with a front paw on each shoulder, giving kisses.

Kayla hasn't been around anyone other than her foster parents so it will likely take her a little time to adjust to her new family and new home. She will warm up quickly if you sit on the floor and play with her and offer treats.

Kayla has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart & home for this sweet girl, contact us here, email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com or fill out an application on heartstohomes.ca.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first thing we require is completion of our Application & Agreement. It is one page, asks for a reference and requires (among other things) that you agree not to de-claw the cat, not to let the cat roam freely outdoors, and to return the cat if the adoption does not work out for any reason.

We deliver the cat upon approval of the application.

All cats are spayed/neutered/vaccinated/microchipped and adult cats are tested for FIV/FELV.
