Vicky was pulled by SSR from a high kill shelter in Southern Texas. She had a large abrasion on her back leg. She has healed nicely and has the sweetest temperament. Here is a video of her condition when SSR pulled her, slightly graphic. https://fb.watch/s3skNfYtA2/. Vicky has finally made her way north to Pennsylvania. Spending a long time in medical boarding and healing has set her back on her being able to live and learn in a home. At this time everything is a game to Vicky. She requires training on every level, her foster is working on all. She is confident and knows her name. She loves water and her stuffy squeaky toys. Vicky tolerates her crate, but settles down fast and is learning that is her 'night night' sleeping spot. She really likes her raised bed! If properly introduced, she is friendly to all dogs and humans..at this moment her joyfulness is a bit too much for children. She shows no aggression towards cats, but she enjoys the chase. Vicky is up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm/flea preventatives, and knows a voice change as happy or displeased. More information to come as Vicky lives and learns.
