My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

`Introducing Koen, the shelters longest dog resident! This charming black and white Pitbull mix has a heart as big as his appetite for treats! At almost 2 years old, Koen is the snuggle champion of the dog world, ready to melt your heart with his gentle nature and adorably large ears. His idea of a perfect Day? A belly full of his favorite snacks and snuggles that last until sunrise. Koen`s soulful eyes and wagging tail are here to remind you that love is a four-legged word. Looking for a match this Valentine`s? Koen promises endless cuddles, sloppy kisses, and shared joy. This boy will love you unconditionally—just as he loves his treats!

More about this shelter

Our shelter was built in 2007 for the City of Hutchinson. Our goal is to help cut down on the pet-overpopulation of Reno County and to place animals in furever homes!
