Big Beefy 5 Layer Burrito is a 5 year old, 70 lbs, English Bulldog. He has a giant personality that matches his giant, wrinkly, head. Beefy came to MHCR from a high-intake/high-kill shelter in Texas. He has all the usual bulldog-isms: dry eye, entropion (we’ve surgically corrected this), and the snoring and snorts bulldog enthusiasts have grown to love. Beefy has done well with some dogs, but he can be a little particular. We’ve found he seems to fancy the ladies the most. He’d be perfectly content being the only dog in a home and requests it also be feline free. Beefy is a strong boy and needs a human capable of handling him. He’s house trained and crate trained, and best of luck to you keeping him off the couch….it ain’t happening. He is food motivated which helps when you’re trying to teach him tricks (he knows a few) or trying to get his fat a$$ off the aforementioned couch. He also does well in the car and enjoys an occasional ride!
