Meet Louie, a playful, friendly, and cuddly adult dog with an energetic and curious personality. He`s always ready for a game of fetch or a leisurely walk, thanks to his leash training. His curious nature makes him the perfect companion for any adventure, always eager to explore new surroundings. He likes agility, car rides, toys, walks, and water. Louie`s friendly nature extends to everyone he meets, be it dogs, cats, or children although he might be a bit cautious at first. Because of his behavior when touched in a way that he doesn`t like, he`ll need to live with kids at least six years old. His house training ensures he`ll be a well-behaved addition to any home. Please give him time to adjust to a new schedule. Louie`s cuddly side is irresistible, making him a lovable lap dog that craves affection. His protective instinct ensures he`s always on alert, though his noisy, jumpy excitement can sometimes be mistaken for mischief. But fear not, Louie is just an excitable, 18-pound social butterfly, seeking to make friends with everyone he meets. Adopting Louie means welcoming a bundle of joy and endless love into your life. His playful spirit and friendly demeanor make him the perfect companion for any family looking for a furry friend. (tw 12/11/2024)
Louie is eligible for CAP`s Foster to Adopt program due to some medical needs. Please ask a CAP staff member about the program.
