Because of his behavior when touched in a way that he doesn`t like, he`ll need to live with kids at least six years old. His house training ensures he`ll be a well-behaved addition to any home. Please give him time to adjust to a new schedule. Louie`s cuddly side is irresistible, making him a lovable lap dog that craves affection. CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.

CAP is proud to announce that through life-saving adoption and transfer programs and a lot of hard work, we have maintained a placement rate of over 93% for all homeless pets surrendered to our shelter in 2021.
