Nine-month-old Maddie, originally named Silvia, and her sister Ruby were found at a dog groomer's home in Tennessee. The groomer fostered the puppies for two months, dedicating a lot of time to training them with a strict, no-nonsense approach. She enforced firm rules and had several other dogs to help teach the sisters the ropes.Maddie is the kind of dog that people fall in love with immediately; she melts into your arms. She is well-mannered, housetrained, and good with kids. Her foster mom described her as the 'perfect' dog. A few weeks ago, Maddie was adopted by a family, but she is now being returned because she chases their resident declawed cat. Maddie had never been around cats before, and her playful chases often leave the defenseless cat running in fear. Maddie needs a home where she can expend her puppy energy, preferably alongside another dog.
