My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winterfell, a young pup with a heart full of love and a spirit that`s fiercely independent. He`s a sweet soul, but he can be a bit shy at first. His eyes, full of curiosity and innocence, reflect his gentle nature. Winterfell loves exploring his surroundings and can often be found sniffing around his favorite spots in the shelter. He has a knack for making anyone he meets smile with his adorable antics. Despite his independent streak, Winterfell is very affectionate and enjoys the company of people. He`s looking for a forever home where he can grow, learn, and love. Adopting Winterfell means welcoming a bundle of joy and endless love into your life. His sweet nature and independent spirit make him a perfect companion. His shyness only adds to his charm, making him all the more endearing. If you`re looking for a loyal friend and a loving family member, Winterfell could be the perfect addition to your home.

More about this shelter

West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.

We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
