Meet Apricot, a spunky 2-month-old tabbico kitten with a heart full of energy and a spirit that can`t be tamed! Apricot arrived at the shelter as a tiny feral kitten, suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection (URI) and a badly irritated left eye that tragically ruptured later that day. After a careful examination by our medical staff, she was placed in foster care to heal and grow stronger. Her eye was eventually enucleated, but that hasn’t slowed her down one bit! Apricot has fully recovered and is now ready for her forever home.
This little firecracker is a playful ball of energy who loves to roughhouse and play with both cats and small breed dogs. She’s especially fond of playing with hair, purring loudly while she does so! Though she doesn’t mean to be rough, her high-energy playstyle can sometimes be a bit much, so she’d do best in a home without small children. Because of her young age and the need for extra care with her one eye, Apricot should live in a strictly indoor environment to keep her safe and sound.
If you`re looking for a sweet, playful, and brave kitten to add to your home, Apricot might be the perfect match. She’s ready to find a loving family where she can keep being the happy, energetic kitten she is!
