Hi there! My name is Knox! I am a handsome, young boy that was sadly surrendered to the shelter because my family didn't have time to give me the attention that I needed. That being said, I now need to find a new home to call my own where I can get all the attention and exercise I deserve! I am a bit timid at first, but I warm up quickly and will ask for all the love I can get once I am comfortable. I lived with a family that had kids of all ages, and I did so great with them! Any new kids I meet I just would ask that they be respectful of my space and let me come to them. I could probably live with children again in my future home! I lived with another dog as well in the past and was friendly with them, but some dogs initimidated me outside my home, so if I were to go home with another dog in the future, we would need a proper introduction to each other first. I am a playful boy and would love to play outside with my people, but I also will settle in on the couch and cuddle after a long day of play as well! What more can you ask for? Maybe I would be a good fit for you? Come to the shelter to meet me and find out for yourself! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 54.6 Age: 1yrs 6mths 0wks

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
Please call shelter for adoption pricing.
