This helps Rescue Row with pet care costs.
One of our board members came across a plea on Facebook about a very pregnant dog at the Athens shelter, just days away from giving birth. She felt an instant connection to this sweet girl, as she reminded her so much of her own beloved dog who had passed away a couple years ago. Henrietta birthed 13 healthy puppies and was an amazing mom. Now that her puppies are weaned, she is ready to find her forever home! Henrietta is a 3 year old American Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is so sweet, loves everyone she meets, and does great with other dogs and is unbothered by cats. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org
*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days.
*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck
*Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org
Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
