My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Lilo! She's a German Shepherd we adopted when she was 3 months old. About 2 years after her adoption, our son was diagnosed with some severe special needs we were unaware of prior. Due to the nature of his neurological needs, and her combined high prey drive and a recent incident of her going after a small dog, we have come to the unfortunate and heartbreaking decision that we are not able to keep up with her high prey drive training that is necessary while also keeping up with our sons therapy schedule. While we know that she is happy with us, we also want her breed demand to be fully met, and for her, that means repetitive prey drive training. She's been wonderful with our children (1 and 5) and loves to greet older kids and adults with a jump up so you can hold her paws. She looks out for her people, loves to play, eat treats, and run. She is our girl, and we love her. We want her desperately to find a family who loves her too.
