Hi there, I’m June! (Better Pics coming soon)

I’m the newest friend here at Pet Savers, and I’d love to tell you a little about myself. My journey started at South Park Animal Hospital, where some incredibly kind people took me in when I was skin and bones and battling parasites. Thanks to them, I’ve filled out nicely (maybe a little too nicely!), and I’m feeling better than ever.

I’m about 1 ½ years old, spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all my vaccines and preventatives. I haven’t met a stranger yet—men, women, children, dogs, cats—you name it, I love them all! I’m playful, loving, and just a little rambunctious, but with a steady routine and some training, I know I’ll make you so happy.

Since arriving at Pet Savers, I’ve been pretty chill, soaking up the sun in the yard and showing off my cuddling skills. This cage life isn’t for me—seriously, it’s for the birds! LOL. I’m ready for a home where I can love and be loved.

Additional adoption info

Due to the current situation we are no longer allowing casual visits to the shelter. You will need to submit an application with the name of the dog or cat you are interested in adopting via email. Please visit our website www.petsaversshreveport.org to download an adoption application. Applications can be emailed back to us at petsavers@petsaversshreveport.org

Adoption fees for dogs range from $100-$250. All pets come fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (for dogs).

The shelter is open seven days a week from 12pm to 4pm
Casual visits are no longer allowed. You will need to submit an application via email with the name of the dog or cat you are interested in adopting.

Monthly Events:
Petsmart Adoption Days have been suspended until further notice.

Every 3rd & 4th Saturday of the month from 11am to 3pm

Pet Savers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2005 and located in Northwest Louisiana. Our mission is to rescue, protect, and place abandoned or unwanted pets and provide funds for neutering, spaying, and other veterinary care.

Our precious rescues are cared for 7 days a week, 365 days a year by a special group of dedicated staff and volunteers.
