Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Molly was rescued off the streets as a puppy freezing in winter. She is now 5 years old, about 60 lbs., shepherd/lab mix, potty trained, crate trained, can be left alone in the house (not destructive), spayed, and a loyal companion. Molly loves to primarily lounge around and sleep, but she also enjoys being outdoors. Being an adult dog, Molly is the best of both worlds when it comes to energy level - equal parts couch potato and yet can still keep up on long walks or a hike!
Molly is picky about her dog-friends so it would be better for her to be the only dog. Molly would do best in a home without small children (kids 12+ y.o.). Molly has shown resource guarding so she doesn’t like to share with other dogs in the same home and doesn’t like when little kids take things, specifically food, away from her. She has not shown any resource guarding towards adults in the house.
Molly is incredibly smart and loving and would do best with an owner that understands rescue dogs.
