Max Who is as loyal and sweet as they come, just like the Grinch's faithful sidekick! This lovable pup is always by your side, ready to offer affection and companionship. Max has a playful streak, but he’s also content curling up on the couch after a fun-filled play session. His big puppy eyes will melt your heart every time. If you're looking for a pup who’s as kind-hearted as Max, you’ve found the one!

Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped and vaccinated. CAWS will cover all of the first year of puppy vaccines and their spay/neuter at 6 months of age. His adoption fee is $300. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
