My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Salsa is a timid boy with a unique personality. He and his littermates are brand new to the shelter so they are still getting used to the people, noises, and smells. Salsa seems to be warming up well though. He doesn't mind being pet and will even purr, but the trick is that he was to be borderline asleep for that to happen. That being said, as a kitten, he will quickly adapt to new environments and we are very sure that he will be a loving kitten soon!Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
