Dog's Name: Pup Holly (HOL1224JNSFD)
Estimated Breed: Border Collie / Australian Shepherd mix
Approximate Age: 4 months
Approximate Weight: 20 LBS
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Holly! Holly and her three siblings came from an overcrowded shelter in Johnson City, Tennessee. Their mom is a Border Collie and Australian Shepherd mix, the dad is unknown. Now that Holly has been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers, she is ready to find her forever family. Could that be with you? Holly is your typical sweet and friendly puppy. Playtime is her favorite time, and she loves making human and canine friends alike. At Holly's young age, she is in her prime for training and socialization. With her breed mix she will be a very smart cookie who learns quickly. Holly will make a great addition to an active home. If you are looking for companionship and unconditional love then look no further than this sweet girl, submit an application today!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
