Dog's Name: Lily (LIL1224MCTFD)
Estimated Breed: Chihuahua / Rat Terrier MIX
Approximate Age: 10 months
Approximate Weight: 10 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Calling all you small dog lovers! Lily is a super sweet cutie on the hunt for a loving forever home. She is 10 lbs of adorable, friendly and gentle. She is playful and active and athletic, with medium to high energy and would love a fenced yard and another dog to play with. Lily would really like to be with her peeps all the time if possible, and isn't a fan of crates. She will cry rather than bark when crated but she is calmer when left loose in the house, particularly with another dog for company. She is smart and attentive and easy to train, and has mainly ignored the cat in her foster home. All she wants is a caring forever home in return for her affection and devotion. She is the perfect size for cuddling and can’t wait to join you on the couch! So come on out and meet little Lily, unconditional love is waiting for you!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
