My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jess King is a mush! She loves to love and be loved. She has a sweet personality and would make a great family pet! She loves to play, but is also quite happy just snuggling on the couch! She doesn't like to go too far from the people she loves and is picking up on commands quite quickly!

Personality & Characteristics:

she is great with dogs and kids. She LOVES other dogs. Shes met a cat and did fine was a little nervous.
So far, she using the bathroom outside like a champ. She is a typical puppy and could benefit from positive reinforcement training. She is very treat motivated.
She can have lots of energy and loves to play. But is also happy laying on the couch... with a bone of course. She could use a bit of leash work. She loves to go on walks and explore the neighborhood. She seemed a bit skittish in the city streets.

So far  she has done well in the crate but definitely prefers to be sitting or playing with someone.  She will whine in the crate but after a little bit she stops.

she can be a bit mouthy as most puppies are, but very quickly will take a stuffy toy or bone. She's learning "no" and "gentle". She just loves so much to play so a game of fetch will quickly distract her. She is a typical puppy but a fast learner. She would thrive with lots of walking, running and playing !

A few of her favorite things include: a good bone. Any type of treat. But most importantly, snuggling! She turns into mush as soon as you talk to her or even just look at her! A complete and total love!

she is very quickly catching on to come... but that's because she doesn't like to go too far from the people she loves!

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
