Meet Leanne!
Leanne is a 2-year-old Boxer with a gentle soul, a sweet nature, and a curious spirit. She’s house-trained and walks well on a leash—though she’s still perfecting her leash manners, she doesn’t pull much and absolutely adores long walks. She’s a social pup who enjoys saying hello to other dogs but is just as happy to walk right by them without a fuss. One thing you won’t have to worry about? Barking—Leanne is a quiet girl!
Leanne is still adjusting to life with love and care, so she has a charming independence. In the apartment, she likes to explore, sniff every corner, take quick naps, and check in on you between her adventures. Her way of showing affection is by making sure you’re okay, and she gets very excited to see people—she’s still learning how to fully accept affection but is blossoming every day.
One of Leanne’s most adorable quirks? She loves her reflection! Whether it’s the mirror, oven door, or TV screen, she gets so excited to “meet” the pup she sees and will sometimes jump up to say hello. While it’s the cutest thing, we’re working on teaching her to keep all four paws on the ground so she doesn’t accidentally knock anything over.
Leanne is very gentle and loves meeting kids on her walks. While she’s sometimes skittish with loud noises (think construction, not car horns), she’s likely to grow out of it as she continues to feel safe and build her trust.
If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion with a touch of silly charm, Leanne might just be the perfect addition to your family!
