DOB 10/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m precious Piper, a sweetheart of a pastel-gray tabby gal with white mittens who’s as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside. I’m initially shy and lack the confidence of my siblings. I guess you might say that I have the “fear gene.”
However, with time and measured petting, which has respected my desire not to be held for long periods of time, Foster Meowmy is helping me to emerge from my shell. And of course, yummy Churus have helped me let down my guard. Now that Foster Meowmy has earned my trust, I'll sleep on her shoulder as I'm nestled next to her face. I do love to play in boxes that have holes cut out of them, and I’m quite the soccer striker as I bat my crinkle balls all over the house!
My siblings Peter and Pepper were found with me in a flower pot, but our momma was nowhere in sight. Thank heavens our Foster Meowmy scooped up the #green-thumb-gang and brought us to safety in her home. The small poodle and adult resident cat helped raise us and coached us on all the things our momma would’ve taught us if she’d been around. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. If you’re an experienced cat owner who knows how to coax the shyness out of a sweet, timid, yet beautiful kitten, I’m the sweetheart for you! Because young children might scare me, I’d fit best in a home with well-behaved, older children. Arrange to meet me today. Although we’re available separately, consider adopting me with Peter or Pepper. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

If you are interested in Piper and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you.
