Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bowie, the pocket-sized pittie who’s ready to steal your heart and bring joy to your home! Found as a stray with his brother, Parker, in an alley in October, Bowie has adapted to the indoor, doggy door life like a champ. Estimated to have been born in the spring of 2024, he’s the perfect mix of energy and snuggles, and he can’t wait to find his forever family.
Bowie is basically a Pit Bull concentrate—he’s all personality in a tiny package, weighing in at just shy of 40 lbs! Whether it’s playing tug-of-war, or wagging his tail so enthusiastically it shakes his whole body, Bowie is always ready to party. He’s affectionate, loyal, and knows how to balance fun with a little relaxation time in his crate (which he loves, by the way!).
This lovable guy has done great in his limited time with kids and has shown he can get along with both big and small dogs. Bowie is housebroken, happy to potty in the rain (yes, really!), and will be a total delight in your home.
He’s so in love with his brother, Parker, and while he’d love to be adopted with his sidekick, he’s also ready for new adventures with a new doggy sibling. A home with at least one other dog would be perfect for him!
Bowie is neutered, up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped, so he's ready to go! If you're looking for a joyful, affectionate companion who will keep you on your toes and shower you with love, Bowie could be the one for you.
Don’t miss out on this tiny powerhouse of joy—Bowie can’t wait to meet you!
Bowie is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
