My name is Jake the Dog!

Hello!
I adopted Jake with my father in 2014 as a child. When my dad moved to England in 2018, I kept her so we wouldn’t have to give her up.
Unfortunately, my dad passed away this year. While overseas, he would help out with her expenses so that she could stay in the family. Without that support I am unable to care for her in the ways she needs. I am a full time teacher, and I’m grieving.
Jake is the sweetest girl. She is extremely smart and good at communicating. She does have anxiety, so she would do best with an experienced and patient owner. She gets along with dogs and cats well after getting aquatinted. I would not say she is very fond of walks, but she does like to play in backyards.
It is not an easy decision finding her a new home, but I think it’s best for both of us right now. I am happy to help with anything and provide as much support with this process as needed <3
