My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Mack.  I am an all gray handsome guy. I have beautiful gray fur similar to a Russian Blue with the breed's trait of being very shy around strangers. My current foster mom doesn't know my history, but she knows I startle very easy, am very cautious with new stimuluses, and am always on alert. I will not approach people, but if you pick me up and start petting me I will purr for you.  I do love to be silly, chase the laser, and play with strings my foster mom wiggles for me. I also love to snuggle with her all night.  I am looking for a home on the quiet side with someone with patience and lots of love and playime.  I will warm up to you and become very loyal to my human in no time. I'm looking forward to meeting you!~Due to shyness Mack would do best with a home without small children, dogs, or dominant cats already established in the home. Mack may do well with older, calm cats that respect his space.

His foster parents are Tara B.   The adoption fee for Mack is $40. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted.

Please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Mack. A volunteer will contact you as soon as possible.

All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter.

Go to the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue website to see the rest of our adoptable cats & kittens.
