Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rowan had a bit of a rough start in life. He was initially abandoned by his mother and found by a kind soul who attempted to bottle-feed him. Unfortunately, things didn't go smoothly and he ended up needing to be treated for aspiration pneumonia when he was 3 weeks old. At this point, it was determined that he needed to go to our rescue to have the best chance. And so Rowan arrived all alone at 3 weeks of age. After a round of antibiotics, good nutrition, and some similarly-aged kittens to keep him company Rowan has thrived.
Rowan is a beautiful kitten! He has a bit of an overbite, which concerned his new foster mom initially. She wasn't sure whether his adult teeth would have proper room to erupt, but we have just passed that hurdle! His adult teeth came in recently and are perfectly situated so as not to require any special dental care. What a relief!
This handsome boy has a plush, thick coat that shows just a hint of blush to show his Flame Pt color. He is loving and snuggly and if he even thinks he will get picked up he starts to purr. He loves snuggling with his people and napping on laps is a favorite. His choice of sleeping places is quite varied. He enjoys sleeping in the different landings of the cat tree, or a decorative basket his dad brought home, but recently his favorite sleep spot is the dog's empty food bowl.
Rowan is very socially adaptable, does well with adult cats as well as the resident dog in his foster home. He has not been around young children.
Rowan is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in Woodland.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Rowan please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact April Fields at aprilfieldsrvt@gmail.com If you are unable to reach April Fields please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Additional adoption info
READY TO ADOPT?
The first step in the adoption process for your new kitty is to submit an adoption application. The second step is to contact the foster home listed on the specific cat(s) or kittens you are interested in to find out more. Are you adopting a kitten? Kittens do best when they have a friend or two to grow up with! Kittens who grow up with another feline friend tend to be well-behaved, well-adjusted, and overall happier. Purebred Plus Cat Rescue kittens are typically adopted as pairs or as a single kitten to homes with an appropriate feline playmate. If you prefer only one kitten, we strongly encourage you to consider one of our wonderful older kittens or young adult cats that are available!

Our cats are neutered or spayed, vaccinated and FELV/FIV tested. We are not a shelter. All of our cats are fostered in private homes. The whole goal of the adoption process is to ensure the cat or kitten is a good fit for you, the adopter, and your environment. We are looking for the best fit NOT first come first serve. We always focus on what is the best for the cat or kitten.
When you adopt from Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue, you are saving TWO lives - the cat you adopt and the cat who gets to take its place in rescue!
