Hi everyone, my name is Shea but you can call me Love Bug like my foster mama does. I’m really hoping that someone can help me find my forever family!!! I’m shy at first and not really good at meeting new friends….what if they don’t like me, what if they think I’m not pretty, you know the typical girl stuff. I’m a 6-7 month old black scruffy/terrier mix. I currently weigh 25 lbs. With all the celebrations and holidays I might gain more weight but not much. I love playing with toys, kids and my other furry friends the dogs and cats. I would definitely love to have fur siblings again to play with as mine all went to forever homes. I’m super smart, love car rides and great on a leash if you want to go for a walk or hike. I also am really good at going outside to potty and sleep in my crate like a big girl. BUT bonus points if you let me snuggle in bed.
So now that you know a little about me tell me about you….looking for a snuggle bug, I can do that! Maybe you need an alarm system, I’ve already learned the ring doorbell sound! Want to start getting more active, perfect cause I love long walks just not in the rain please. You name it and I’m willing to learn it! Just reach out and maybe we can have a playdate soon!!
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
