Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Scout is a lovable 5 year old lab that lives to play fetch, swim, and cuddle his owner. We have had him since he was 10 weeks old, and while he was high energy, we trained him well. He knows all commands (sit, down, stay) and has a great recall. We have him trained to respond to clicks and beeps as well. He does great on a leash. Unfortunately, while Scout is 100% friendly with people, he does not get along with other dogs well. Due to personal reasons, I am now living with my parents. We have tried training and medication, but Scout continues to be reactive and anxious around my parent’s dogs. I am nervous to have this behavior around my 18 month old daughter. In an environment without other dogs or young children, Scout thrives. He is so sweet and fun. He is my absolute best friend, but I know our situation right now is not what’s best for him.
