A24225 Wallace is a black and white colored, approximately 2-year-old, 41-pound, neutered male, Pitbull.
He entered the shelter as a stray on 12-10-2024 and was altered by our medical staff.
Wallace is a friendly, eager and easy to handle boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is friendly and loves to snuggle. He loves belly rubs and will stay right next to you as long as you are giving him love and attention. The say any family will be lucky to have this good boy. He was easy to leash but pulls in excitement to be out exploring. He has had some training and will “sit” and “lay down” upon command. He has a friendly interest in other dogs here at the shelter, with a happy bark and tail wag when he sees them. Wallace will be a fun-loving family member in his new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
