Meet Dagi💕
With People: Dagi likes people but is timid, requiring a slow and gentle approach. She may hide from strangers out of fear, though she becomes comfortable around familiar people. Occasionally startled by loud noises, she hides briefly but comes out quickly afterward.
With Dogs: Dagi is shy around unfamiliar dogs and may hide when approached. However, she gets along well with familiar canine friends at the shelter.
Separation Anxiety: Dagi handles being alone well! Providing her with toys or nose work activities can keep her entertained during solo time.
Potty Training: Currently about 90% trained! She prefers outdoor toileting for defecation and is improving her indoor training every day.
Walking and Exploration: Dagi enjoys “nose walks” to explore scents. She is curious about other animals like dogs, cats, and birds but may also be a little fearful.
Grooming and Hygiene, Bathing: She’s scared of loud noises from the shower or dryer but relaxes with reward treats afterward.
Brushing: Accepts brushing when rewards are involved but otherwise finds it bothersome.
Nail Trimming: She’s calm during nail trims when done gradually.
Car Sickness: Generally doesn’t get car sick but may vomit slightly in rough rides or poorly driven vehicles.
💌Special Notes💌
Training Needs: As a puppy, Dagi may require training for separation anxiety, potty habits, chewing, light nipping, whining, mischief, howling, and barking.
Unknown Genetics: Her shedding tendencies and adult size are unpredictable as her parentage is unknown.
Skills: She has learned the “sit” command!
Communication: She barks to ask for playtime and whines to go outside when she needs to poop.
Timid Nature: She’s very shy outside her home environment. Slow desensitization training is recommended.
Chewing Habits: Loves to chew on door frames, shoelaces, toys, and wooden sticks due to teething. Occasionally nibbles gently on hands and feet as a form of affection.
Personality: Despite her initial timidity, Dagi is a sweet and gentle pup. Once comfortable, she becomes curious and eager to explore.
❗Health Status❗
Spayed: Not yet
Other: Microchipped, currently being treated for giardia and canine coronavirus.

Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
