Hi, I’m Salem. I was born on a farm and picked up by my current family as a kitten. I grew up to be a reserved cat, often skittish to environmental factors, but I love to get pets and sit on your chest when I’m in an affectionate mood. I like to observe and have had experience with a couple other cats. I have a dog brother that I am not fond of due to his size, but I do tolerate him when I feel safe.
Upon moving to Arizona, I have struggled to adjust to my new life. I am always hiding and having accidents here and there. I am scared having to share my current space in an apartment; it is not like when I had my own room in a house where I have plenty of space to run and decompress. I am looking for a home that I can be a part of again and have my own space to grow to love.
