Ragnar is a handsome Hound and is youthful at only 1.5 years old. He previously lived with teens and adults and gets along well with everyone. He has also done well with another dog in the home, but he will need a home with no cats. Ragnar is described by his former owner as playful, friendly, likes playing with toys, but also laid back. He is house trained and has been crate trained to sleep in a crate overnight. Ragnar weighs 78 lbs., is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. Come meet him at 4030 S. We are here to help you find the one for you! When you come to the shelter please bring your photo ID.

2.
Take the Pet Home

Adopt and the pet is legally yours! Or choose to "slumber party" which is a trial adoption. You will have up to two weeks to decide.

3.
Pay Fee

The adoption fee is $60 for a dog and $35 for a cat. Those living within Citrus County, FL. will also purchase a $10 county license fee.

All adopters must be at least 18 years old. The adoption fee is $60 for a dog and $35 for a cat. Those living within Citrus County, FL. will also purchase a $10 county license fee. All pets are spayed/neutered, current on age and species appropriate vaccinations and flea and heartworm prevention. Kittens under 6 months of age are tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), and Cats over 6months of age are tested for FeLV and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Dogs over 6 months of age are tested for heartworm disease. If the dog is heartworm positive, the treatment will be provided by our Veterinarian, at no cost to the adopter, sponsored by our generous community partner Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection (CCFAP).
