Hello, meet Arthur!
Arthur is a charming and energetic 9 month-old terrier mix with a heart full of love and excitement! He’s a social butterfly who absolutely adores people, making him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a cuddly, fun-loving pup. Arthur gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is eager to make new furry friends. While we think he could be a great match for a household with cats, we recommend introducing him gradually to ensure a smooth transition.
When it comes to playtime, Arthur is all in! He loves to run around outside, chase after toys, and enjoys walks with his humans. Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
