My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Minnie is a new arrival to Colorado and her foster home

More details to come as she settles into her dog trainer foster home - don’t let the pictures fool you she’s a small girl working off her post pregnancy weight

**Right now she is still pretty shy and coming out of her shell and I am sure once she does she will be a higher energy fun loving girl! She had puppies when she was at the shelter and all those puppies were adopted out in Texas leaving her there alone before being brought up to us. So as you can imagine she is taking a bit longer to get comfortable here
**the big city scares her so probably not best to be living down town denver, suburban areas are totally fine!
**working through some guarding of her crate to other dogs but otherwise is fine with other dogs
**she loves new people and will run up and ask for pets

She is currently being fostered with other dogs in her home and would love an active family

She comes fully vetted and with Two free dog training sessions as all our dogs do

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
